Booking a tour with me means immersing into history. I am not only talking about the past- I am talking about the recent history.
I can say "I am a Dresdener". A Dresden citizen who was raised in the wonderful city, has sweet memories about my childhood in this beautiful city, a Dresdner who has lived as a young mother through the challenging time of the reunification and a local guide with a unique experience as a tour director even before the reunification of Germany.

I'd like to share my passion of tour guiding, history and arts. I studied with the boys of Dresden Kreuzchor and I am focusing on music & art tours having obtained all permits for guiding in all art collections of Dresden, like the Art Gallery, the "Green Vault" and the Porcelain collection.

I was spoilt to be raised in a city where the flair of art and culture is lying in the air.

Living through different historic societies and participating in many historic events which were marking my life in a very impressive way, like the re-opening of the Opera House in 1985 or the Consecration of the Frauenkirche in 2005. Based on all my experience I am now giving lectures on the reunification of Germany.

My hobby is travelling - in order to improve my language skills and to get to know different places, people and cultures. This is so exciting!

For more than 25 years I have been focusing on cultural tour-guiding, on specialized groups, like music tours or reformation tours and on tailor-made programms for my customers.

Welcome to my hometown Dresden!

I am convinced I am blessed to be raised in the city that became known as the "Florence in the North".
But Dresden is not only known for its historic buildings and the world know Art Collections- Dresden is a green city situated in the valley of the river Elbe.
This tour is including the historic city centre of Dresden as well as the green outskirtt with their charmy villas and palaces.

During this combined tour - either by taxi or public transport - you have the chance to discover Dresde as a city of Hightech and baroque, between framework wine farmer houses and villas of Art Nouveau. You will see the slopes of Dresden with their vineyards. Depending on the itinerary you could also take the chance to visit the unique dairy entirely equipped with tiles made by Villeroy & Boch. The walking tour of the Altstadt- the historic cit center- is included in this tour as well.

Comprehensive Dresden Highlight Tour

This tour is a very personal tour. And it is a combination of the "comprehensive tour" and the WW II tour including a sightseeing tour by van.

I was born in the late 50ties after the war. But both my parents were affected by the war.
The war that broke out from German soil returned to Germany and destroyed also the gem of Germany - Dresden.
On this tour you learn more about the very ambivalent history of the air raid on Dresden, its scars and background.
The tour is underlined by many photographies to compare the history of reconstruction.

I could arrange meeting an eye witness. A lady - more than 80 years old- who has lived here all her life, through the bombing and the reconstrution under the GDR government. And she could see the city rising like phoenix bird from the ashes.

There are not so many people any longer who can share their story with us.
This a story that should not be forgotten.

Why not taking a little tour in the evening when the city of Dresden is still busy and the buidlings are so beautifully iluminated?

Honestly saying I had the idea for this offer when I was sitting at Marcus Square in Venice after dinner and a busy day with museum visits. And I was thinking how wonderful it would be if now- after dinner- I could have a tour.

So maybe you are at the same situation - you have either arrived late in the afternoon and prefer checking in and having a nice dinner first. Or maybe it is rather hot and you would prefer visiting one of our art collections in the airconditioned museums?
