Welcome to Paris! My name is Rola. I'm a licensed tour guide since 25 years. After graduating in International Affairs, I worked for a little while in a bank, enough time to realize this wasn't my cup of tea. So, I went back to university and got a Masters Degree in Art History and passed the State exam to become a licensed tour guide. Ever since I've been enjoying guiding foreign guests around the Paris region. For about 20 years I was also working as a fashion and gastronomical editor attending Fashion weeks and interviewing fashion designers and Chefs. This allowed me to explore those fascinating fields in depth. It has also been a plus for my guests, as I can make them discover the fashion and gourmet side of the City of Light (personal shopper, food tours) I'm enthusiastic and very flexible; always ready to adapt my tours and customize them so that they fit the requests of the travelers. I offer all the regular tours such as museums and monuments (Louvre, Orsay Museum, Versailles Palace…) but I also like to make my guests discover Paris through walking tours (The historical center of Paris, The Marais district, Montmartre etc…) I think that some fun activities can have a cultural value: Food market visit, cooking class (both can be combined), Pétanque game by the Eiffel Tour with or without aperitif, Impressionist painting workshop that can be done on its own or be combined with the Orsay Museum, Giverny or Orangerie museum.
