My name is Pierre-yves. Originally from central France and with numerous stints abroad, I am at heart a Parisian and have called Paris home for over 20 years. I am a national-licensed guide offering private tours either walking or with professional car service in English, Spanish and French.

I have a degree in French & Art History and have been touring for over 15 years. I am a Certified National Guide - meaning I hold the French government accreditation to privately guide inside monuments and state museums. I specialize in private custom tours, tailoring to travelers specific interests while also sharing my best insider knowledge about this magical city and region. As an avid traveler myself (and married to an American), I respect both the passion and needs of foreigners. We will celebrate in the discovery of a new place together while also catering to the practical demands of the day. Outside of Europe, I have explored the USA, Mexico, China, India, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific extensively. Together we will take in the magnificent architecture, art and history and behold the treasures of famous museums like the Louvre, Orsay and Rodin. We can waltz into the luring corridors and lush gardens at Versailles and Fontainebleau; venture to the breathtaking shores of Normandy and retrace the steps of WWII soldiers; explore the majestic chateaux dotting the Loire Valley and walk the footsteps of Leonardo di Vinci to Amboise; follow the Seine on Claude Monet's journey to the waterlillies of Giverny and the Cathedral of Rouen; taste the rich blends of pinot noir and chardonnay in Champagne and indulge our palates with the world class grapes of Burgundy vines.

Along with art and history, I am also immensely passionate for craft food and natural wine, especially when it comes to sharing them in my favorite, local spots. I'm always scouting for the best markets, bistros, cafes, bakeries, cheese, wine, and coffee shops. Part of the magic of private guiding is bringing you to places you wouldn't find on your own and sharing my insider knowledge.
