Hello and welcome to France! My name is Valentine and I'm a licensed tour guide. I grew up by the sea in far west Brittany, before going to Paris to study Architecture and Art History in the École du Louvre and the Sorbonne University. After my studies, I started being an exhibition organizer in museums and I loved it. I even worked at the Château de Versailles, on the setup of a huge art show in the gardens. At some point, though, I felt that I wanted to share Art and History more directly with people, and that's how I became a professional tour guide, 5 years ago. I happily gave tours all over Paris, but also outside of Paris, and my favorite place to bring guests was the Loire Valley with its incredible castles, landscapes and stories. . . I simply decided to move there 2 years ago! I'm a very curious and enthusiastic person, and I'm really passionate and knowledgeable about History, Art and Architecture. Above all, I love sharing. So welcoming you is really my pleasure! I will tell you all about the places we visit together and the characters who inhabited them, but I also love to discuss the French culture and habits, amongst a million other things. Spending the day or even a few hours with me, you may have the impression you're going around with a friend! I can customize any tour around the region for you, so feel free to ask.
