I am Javier and I am a VERY, VERY LOCAL tour guide. I WAS BORN AND RAISED in Cuenca, one of the most beautiful cities in this country. Since I was a little boy I have been attracted and interested in traveling and getting to know different places and people, so, after I finished high school I decided to study tourism. I did three years of Tourism and Hospitality Management and then I decided to travel and explore outside Ecuador to grow and discover myself. So, I went to Belgium for a year and I can assure you it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I was also able to travel around Europe (One of my deems) and It opened my mind. I was able to learn about different cultures, different languages, but it also made me realize that there's no place like my country "Ecuador". Thus I came back to continue my career and I managed my time to work as a tour guide in my free time until I got the license of National Tour Guide and it became my full-time job. It's been more than ten years of incredible experiences. I've been almost everywhere in Ecuador and pretty much around South America, helping myself to learn how to Love Life! I've met people from many countries and all five continents. I can't imagine myself in an office for 8 hours a day. Therefore, being a tour guide is perfect for me. I love spending time outdoors, in nature, hiking mountains or just exploring local markets, museums, and historical places. Now, more than ever, I am sure I was born to be a tour guide. It's my passion! My mission is to make your visit a wonderful experience by showing the beauty, amazing diversity and contrast of my country.
