I am originally from Puerto Maldonado, a gateway to the southern Peruvian Amazon jungle and my parents are from small native Quechua speakers villages of Cusco. I am a lifelong native of Peru. I have a unique and special relationship with the surrounding flora and fauna, and deep reverence for Quechua culture, of which I am part of and speak the language. I currently live in Cusco and have worked in tourism more than 13 years, exploring the most beautiful places doing hiking, trekking and classic tours. Let me share with you the amazing history of the incas, pre-incas, colonial history and contemporary news. I am known for my patience and unassuming presence that puts people at ease and draws them into the stories I tell. I am authorized by SERNANP (National Service of Natural Protected Areas by the State - Ministry of Environment of Peru) to lead tours in the Inca road network of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu and buffers zone, by registration number 1068. I am qualified as monitor and guide of adventure and rescue of ropes in rough places and first aid by VERTIENTE E.I.R.L (Consultancy and consultancy in work in height and rescue and first aid). I am not a driver guide but I can arrange transportation upon request.
