I’m a Tour guide from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, working for 10 years through Rio de Janeiro City, around Brazil and also for some countries abroad like Caribe, Cuba, and Grand Cayman Islands.

I graduated as a journalist bachelorette in 2016. Since then, I have been a content producer and social media for tourism blogs and websites, and I have been producing journals, texts and blogs about Rio and other countries like Chile and Latin America.

I’m also a professional dancer who graduated in 2003 from the Municipal Theater Opera. As a ballet dancer -in Rio de Janeiro- I have worked for more than 20 years, and today I’m the proud owner of a dance school that I administrate and give many classes during the week as well as online.

We will start the day with a wonderful tour of the city center, understanding the beginning of the formation of the Brazilian society as colonial and the start of the republic period in the city and how this influenced the nation from that time. 

We'll see the Brazilian types of architecture, arts, musicians and much more.  After this profound trip about the composition of our society let's end the tour with a bonus tour. We're going to end this day with a beautiful boat trip at sunset to see Rio from another point of view.

I will pick you up at your hotel and head straight to Corcovado Mountain. Along this path, we will pass through the largest urban forest on the planet, the Tijuca Forest.

We will make our first stop at the Paineiras visitor center where we will depart by van to see the majestic statue of Christ the Redeemer, with beautiful panoramic views of the wonderful city.

We then descend through Santa Teresa, a neighbourhood with a strong artistic and cultural appeal, and next, we Escadaria Selarón, covered in colourful mosaics, from where we will continue to visit the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro.

Your exploration continues with a stop at the legendary Maracanã football stadium and a passage through the famous Sambadrome, home of the vibrant Carnival parade.

After lunch, we continue our journey to Pão de Açúcar for an up-close encounter with one of Rio's most beautiful natural wonders, which will yield beautiful photos!
