Servus & welcome to Vienna!

Like many other Viennese, I chose Vienna as my heartfelt home because the only thing better than vacationing in Vienna is, of course, living here. 
Apart from being the capital of waltz, art museums, and Imperial Grandeur, Vienna is a very colorful, yet relaxed, contemporary hub regularly declared the most livable city in the world.
Loving my city as much as I do, I delight in sharing its beauty and its stories with visitors like you!

My story starts in the 1980s behind the Iron Curtain in the capital of Romania. However, following an adventurous migration, I mostly grew up in an Austrian province named Upper Austria. 
My first love was art, and it began with my studies of Textile Art & Design at Linz’ University. Needless to say, this is an everlasting love, and thankfully Vienna is a city full of beautiful museums and wonderful street art.
Another passion of mine is travelling, and my second career as a flight attendant in Private Aviation allowed me to travel the globe, visit dozens of countries and live and work abroad in places like the South of France.
But maybe my passion # 1 currently is history – following my history studies I decided to engage in a profession that permits me to be surrounded daily with culture, history, and beauty. Therefore, I returned to Austria, declared Vienna my home at last, and obtained my qualification and certification as a local guide.

When I’m not introducing Vienna to dear travelers, I might be touring through some other fascinating corner of Europe as a trip leader, or I could be enjoying la dolce vita in the Mediterranean or perhaps attending a wine seminar in the Wachau. But just as likely, I’m at home experimenting with a newly discovered recipe, hunting for books in the antiquary, or running to the theatre to catch a play.

I look forward to welcoming you in what is considered to be the biggest – and certainly the most charming - village in the world, and sharing my knowledge, humor, and our local culture with you!

Explore Austria’s UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley, renowned for its stunning terraced vineyards, apricot orchards, medieval fortress ruins, ancient abbeys, and charming villages along the Danube River.
We’ll delve into the history of Austria, visit the place where Richard the Lionheart was once held captive, and sample outstanding apricot delicacies. But most of all, we encounter sheer beauty. 
Our journey takes us through the picturesque villages of famous Dürnstein and Weissenkirchen—the latter home to a remarkable medieval fortress church. During our lunch break in Weissenkirchen or nearby Spitz, there will be an opportunity to enjoy local cuisine and Wachau wines and fruit juices.
We continue to Aggstein castle, a striking medieval ruin perched on a hillside offering spectacular views over the valley. Our final stop is the Benedictine Abbey of Melk—an imposing 12th-century landmark, which you’ll discover on a guided tour, followed by some free time for its gardens.


Wachau Valley

Today we explore one more UNESCO-listed heritage site in Austria: the most splendid summer residence of the former Austrian Emperors, the Habsburg family. 
Shaped and loved by Maria Theresia, Austria's famous female ruler dubbed 'the only man in Europe', this palace has remained the favoured summer retreat for most subsequent emperors, and has preserved its awe-inspiring beauty and glamour. 
Hear the remarkable stories of Schönbrunn on a private guided tour of the palace, and enjoy some free time in its Baroque gardens.
