one full day in Langhe - the land of plenty

Piedmont is a region of northwest Italy that remains relatively unknown, despite a rich and important history. It played a key role in the Napoleonic wars and later in the country's unification, which saw Turin become Italy's first capital city.
Taste the best of Italy's Piedmont region on this route through Langhe and Roero, enjoying its barolo and barbaresco wines.
Great wines are made all over the region, but the key area, just an hour's drive from Turin, is the Langhe and Roero, separated by the winding Tanaro river. The Langhe's rolling vine-clad hills produce barolo and barbaresco, two of the world's greatest red wines.

THIS TOUR STARTS IN TORINO AND ENDS IN TORINO (unless you want to be dropped off amid the vineyards).

Please take note that this is an estimate agenda of the tour, inclusive of highlights. I can customize this tour to your personal interests, so please let me know if there is any producer or location you wish to include in your day trip and I will do my best you meet your requests.
