Achillion Palace-Paleokastritsa(Monastery)-Old Corfu town
If you want to see during a half day tour all the most visited places on Corfu, here it is:a tour combining beauty and culture.
We will start from the port or your hotel and drive to the central part of the island where stands the first "must" on Corfu:the Achillion Palace. We will visit the interior museum and then three terrasses with beautiful gardens and masterpieces of the 19th century statuary.
After that we will drive through the valley of Ropa, the largest on Corfu to go towards the wonderful resort of Paleokastritsa This is the 2nd "must"!On a small hill, stands a small but picturesque Byzantine Monastery of the"THEOTOKOU".
In that charming place you will discover some of the most interesting post-byzantine icones.
We might have a short stop for a drink along the shore!
The 3rd "must"is the historical center of Corfu town, at 40' from Paleokastritsa. We will stop on the main square, the Spianada and will have a stroll in the kantounia.
The tour will end at the port or at your hotel.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: For customers arriving to Corfu port with a cruise liner,meeting point will be always at the entrance of the port terminal.I will be there with a board on which your name will be written.
I will provide you with specific details on booking.
If you are staying in a hotel or on a yacht,I will check with you for the pick up point.
End location: If you are on a cruise ship and you wish to spend more time in town after the tour had ended,then you will return to the port by taxi(Fare:10-15 euros ).

The duration of this tour is 4.30h.But if you wish to stay longer in town,you may remain and get back to the port or hotel by taxi.From town to port 10-15 euros the fare(not per person!)10minutes drive.
The tour is done in an air conditionned car,Mercedes or Volvo or similar with a neet and polite driver.

Wafaa was delightful. Unfortunately one member my friend on the tour became ill and so the tour though utilizing the time provided was not as good as it would have been but for the illness.
