Visit a wildlife paradise with a local private guide!
We visit the largest wetlands in Europe, the last place in Europe with wild horses, a paradise for wild birds, fresh water and salt water fish.
Day1: Half day drive Bucharest - Tulcea; lunch in Tulcea; after lunch we take a boat to Sulina; arrival in Sulina around 17:30; short trip by boat (1-2 hours) with a local driver to the place where Sulina Channel meets the Black Sea. We see the Old Lighthouse, the New Lighthouse, an island where the wild birds have their nests, some old shipwrecks. Dinner in Sulina, at request it can be home cooked dinner. Overnight in Sulina.
Day2: Full day trip with a small boat with a local driver on the channels and lakes of the Danube Delta. We see many wild birds (pelicans, cormorants, aigrettes, wild ducks, seagulls, the delta hens, etc. ), some fresh water turtles, maybe some fresh water snakes. On request we can go see the wild horses from the Letea Forest. Overnight in Sulina.
Day3: Sulina - Tulcea by boat in the morning, Tulcea - Bucharest by car in the afternoon.
