If you love mexican art and history you should take this cultural tour!
Learn and have fun at the same time while we visit two of the most important places in Mexico City: the ancient house the Huitzilopochtli and Tlaloc, Templo Mayor, and the most astonishing mural paintings done between 1929 and 1951 by "el maestro" Diego Rivera. While we admire his work we will also travel through Mexico's history, from the toltec times to the XX century. Gardens, museums, art, noisy streets, archeological zone, beautiful models of Tenochtitlan are included on this tour. We'll also visit a basement to find the archeological remains of the Calmecac, the collegue for the aztec nobles! Tenochtitlan is still there, beneath the modern city!

Itinerary

We will start the tour visiting the archeological zone of Templo Mayor, Huey Teocalli, the most important temple of the aztec culture. You will learn everything you need to know about this powerful, refined and violent civilization. Then, we will enter the Museum of the Mexica Culture to admire the most iconic art pieces of the aztec people, like Tlaltecuhtli, Coyolxauhqui, the Chac Mool and many others.
When we finish, we will walk towards Palacio Nacional, the residence of power in Mexico since the aztec times, so we can admire more than 10 different mural paintings made by Diego Rivera. We will visit the private rooms of the most important presidents of Mexico in the XIX century: Benito Juárez, the great reformist. Another amazing spots are the gardens of the Empress, the first legislative chamber of Mexico and finally the Calmecac, the collegue for the aztec nobles were Moctezuma and others rulers studied. Every moment i'll answer all your questions and doubts.
