An all-inclusive full day tour to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and Mt Field National Park (including Russell Falls)
You will enjoy picturesque scenery as we travel to Mt Field National Park. Enjoy a leisurely walk along a nature trail to the iconic Russell Falls. Walking further along the trail, take in another waterfall, Horseshoe Falls, and a towering tall tree forest (where you stand beneath the 2nd tallest tree in the world). You'll feel so refreshed after breathing in the fresh forest air too.
Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary's ultimate aim is to rescue, rehabilitate and release injured and orphaned Tasmanian wildlife. Learn about an array of Tasmanian animals including the Tasmanian Devil, Wombats, Echidnas, Kangaroos, Emus and other very special creatures. Many of our native species are rare, endangered or because they are nocturnal, very difficult to see in their natural habitat during daylight hours.
This all-inclusive tour includes entry fees for Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and Mt Field National Park. You will also enjoy morning tea and a picnic lunch featuring local Tasmanian produce and sweet treats.
We travel through the picturesque Derwent Valley, through the town of New Norfolk and pass hop fields, orchards and farmland along the way. We'll stop alongside the Tyenna River to look for a platypus while enjoying morning tea.
Continuing to Mt Field National Park you'll enjoy a stunning & leisurely nature walk to Russell Falls, Horseshoe Falls amongst the tall trees of the forest and learn about the natural environment. How much walking you do will be up to you - there's an option to suit all.
Having walked up an appetite, enjoy a picnic lunch featuring Tasmanian produce & sweet treats along with tea/coffee/juice.
After lunch we'll make our way to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary where you'll meet some amazing unique and endemic creatures. Become truly inspired by the work of a dedicated team of wildlife keepers & volunteer wildlife carers. You'll also learn some amazing stories of endurance and survival of injured and orphaned native Tasmanian animals.

The tour with Coreena was a big experience, she was very nice, super well organized and she suceeded in making discover is Tasmania in a more than professional way. She organized a visit of the tasmanian devil wich was one of our must seen, it was just great. She drove us from highlight to highlight, and last but not least, her picnic was the best we ever had. Thank you for all, it was an experience we'll never forget.
