Tallinn Old Town is a must-see, but having some extra time time to also view the most interesting spots in the Estonian capital, will give you the opportunity to have complete experience of the city.
The itinerary can be changed according to the traveler's needs and requests. This what I recommend:
-Pick up from port or hotel, with private car
-Drive through Tallinn city center
-Stop at Kadriorg park for a stroll, to see the most beautiful park and Peter the Great's summer palace. Entrance in the palace is optional
-Rusalka monument, and quick stroll on Tallinn beach
-Back on the car, to go and visit the Song Festival Ground
-Drive through the Soviet District of Lasnamae
-Drive through the Pirita forest, stop at the Pirita monastery. Optional entrance
-Photo stop at the Olympic District, to enjoy the view of Tallinn skyline
-Drive the Upper Old Town (UOT).
-Walking tour of the UOT including: governor's garden, castle's square, Orthodox Cathedral, Dome Church, 2 panoramic terraces to enjoy the magnificent view over the city, coffee break.
-Walk down to the Lower Old Town (LOT): Danish king's garden, Short Leg Street, St. Nicholas Church, Town Hall Square, Old Pharmacy
