A visit to Cape Town should include the famous Table Mountain, it stands high above Cape Town almost guarding the " Mother City" this massive mountain is older than the Andes, the Alps, the Rocky Mountains and the Himalayas. Explore this iconic natural wonder for a birds eye view and awesome photos of the ' Mother City ".
Named the 'Cape of Storms' by Bartolomeu Dias in 1488; the 'Point' was treated with respect by sailors for centuries. Cape Point falls within the southern section of Table Mountain National Park. The natural vegetation of the area, fynbos, comprises the smallest but richest of the world's six floral kingdoms.
Continuing along the coastline we drive to the penguin colony at Simons Town, stopping for lunch in Simons Town, the drive back to Cape Town takes you through some quaint towns along the route.
Pick up at accommodation at 8. 00, we drive to Table Mountain for your views of the city from way up high. You take the cable way to the top of Table Mountain for spectacular views of the city. We then drive along the coastal route through Chapmans Peak to Cape Point and the Peninsula seeing amazing scenery along the route and beautiful views of Cape Point. We then drive towards Simons Town for a view of this quaint coastal town to view the penguins at Boulders Beach. We complete the journey with a late lunch and a short stroll through this small coastal village before making our way through Muizenberg and back towards Cape Town
