Fantastic Half Day Tour including Scotlands most important Castle & Battle site
Our first stop is Stirling Castle! The most important Castle in Scotland. Perched on a volcanic plug dating back 350 million years, Stirling is the most fought over Castle in Scotland & if you're going to visit a Scottish Castle, it has to be Stirling Castle.
Mary Queen of Scots was crowned at Stirling Castle in 1543, it was the home of Kings, plotters and even our earliest recorded attempt at flight !
On this half day tour you won't miss a thing and we'll even walk across the 15th century Stirling Bridge, following in the footsteps of Scottish Freedom fighter William Wallace.
The day is not complete without a visit to the famous Kelpie sculptures near Falkirk. The largest statues of horses in the world and truly spectacular landmark heralding the industrial revolution and Highland folklore.
Our return to your drop off point will be around 13;45 -1400 hrs (depending on traffic)

After a snack and Castle Tour (around noon) we shall walk over the old bridge across the river Forth made famous by William Wallace (or Mel Gibson, depending how you like your history)
