2 UNESCO sites tour with private local guide
Lets spend a day on a tour around 2 beautiful UNESCO cities Split and Trogir. Trogir, small, picturesque, romantic and friendly town, was founded in 3rd century bc and by today many influences mixed on such a small area. Besides the rich history and stories that are engraved on a city walls and on the stone pavements in tiny city streets, there is a wide variety of trades and traditions still in practice by local people. Fishing, wine making, olive oil making are just a few to mention. And all of that we can check out on a local fresh market.
Once we get back to city of Split, we will take a nice panoramic view from the slopes of the Marjan hill. Great sightseeing spot with beautiful view on the city center, Diocletian's palace, main port of Split, surrounding islands and mountains.
To wrap it all up, we will take a tour around the Diocletian's palace and its main highlights and hopefully cover the complete story of Split and its surrounding area.
Once we meet and get know each other we will take a short drive towards the town of Trogir. On our way we can spot a ruins of Roman aqueduct, theater and amphitheater where we can stop for a short check in and to take some pictures. Once we get in Trogir, we will take around 45 min walk around the old town and check out the major highlights of the city ending our Trogir tour on a beautiful promenade where we can take a short brake with a cup of coffe, tea or a snack.
After a break we will head towards the city of Split. At first, we will get to the panoramic site on the slopes of Marjan hill, where we can enjoy the most beautiful view of the city and all of its surrounding area. The tour will end with a walk tour of Diocletian's palace, Peristyle, St. Domnius cathedral, fresh market. . .
