An island to love

You know how they say that we sometimes don't see what's right in front of us? Well, the island of Brač is somewhat like that. Just 45min ferry ride from Split there is an island laden with history and rich in natural beauties. Most famous for its radiant white stone (White House in Washington DC is built of it!) and a pebbly, long dream beach (Zlatni Rat) Brač is an attractie destination with many awards.
We'll do a mini-van ride from Supetar to Bol, two main centres on opposite sides of the island. In between, we will explore sleepy stone villages, stopping to see most interesting sights: Škrip, 2000 years old settlement with the most charming museum revealing much about history of Brač and its everyday life, and Pučišća with its stone carving school, one of the few left in Europe.
In Bol, after our walking tour, you can dip in the crystal clear water, enjoy wine tasting in Stina winery or visit Dešković gallery. On our way back we'll stop at the "Roof of Adriatic", for a truly majestic view of Adriatic!

Itinerary

The tour starts at 9am with comfortable ferry ride from Split to Supetar, where we are picked up by our local chauffeur. In the mini-van we enjoy a short drive to Škrip. Visit to the museum of the island of Brač and short walk through this sleepy village. We continue to Pučišća, for a visit to the stone-carving school. We than drive to Bol for a walking tour od the town and some free time for relaxation and swimming.
If you're not into swimming, visit to Stina vinery can be organized (upon request). It is a modern, exclusive vinery where one can try some of the best Croatian wines and have a nice snack (prosciutto, cheese, olives, bread).
At 14:30 we head back to Supetar. On our way back, we drive to the "Roof of Adriatic", at the height of 778m, for a splendid view of the Adriatic sea and many central Dalmatian islands. At 15:30 we take ferry back to Split.
This tour can also include visits to Dragon's cave or Blaca monestery or be done by private speed boat from Split. Pls contact me for tailored programme

A Recent Review of this tour

Katja is a wonderful guide. We had a great day on Brac and appreciated having the driver and Katja ensure we got the most out of our 1 day on the island. Our favorite part was swimming at Golden Horn beach - so beautiful. We could not have seen all the other points too in a short time without Katja - museum, church and view point...and winery! Thank you Katja!
