A scenic tour across waterfalls, volcanoes and glaciers.

On this tour, you will see two waterfalls, Eyjafjallajökull volcano, Sólheimajökull glacier and Reynisfjara shore, the Black Sand beach. On the glacier stop a 20 minutes hiking is required. This tour is ideal for Nature Lovers and it's good for all ages.

I will take you on a private tour in a modern vehicle with AC and all the latest equipment needed on board.

I want to make this trip memorable for you. Please tell me if you have any special requests and desires.

•First, we stop at Reynisfjara shore, the Black Sand Beach. The waves at Reynisfjara are especially strong and unpredictable. Out in the sea are the spectacularly shaped basalt sea stacks Reynisdrangar.
•Sólheimajökull glacier will be our next stop. The most striking thing about Sólheimajökull glacier is how it is shrinking and retreating. It has retreated about a kilometer in the last decade.
•Next we head to Skógarfoss. It is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country. Here it would be possible to have lunch at Hotel Skógar if requested.
•The famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano is next on the list. It's the volcano that stopped all air traffic in 2010 when it erupted and the land surrounding it went covered in ashes.
•From Eyjafjallajökull we head to Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Seljalandsfoss is one of the most popular waterfalls in Iceland, you can walk behind the waterfall into a little cave.

A Recent Review of this tour

We all had a great time with Birkir. The sights just driving along the south coast were spectacular. Beautiful glaciers (from afar) and stunning waterfalls up close and we got to walk behind one of them and only get somewhat wet (not soaked or drenched!). Added bonus of tasting the famous fermented shark with a shot of "black death" schnapps (smells worse than it tastes!). Birkir has a wealth of information about Iceland and we felt we got to know him in just a day.
