Explore Vesuvius, the giant volcano that dominates the Bay of Naples and the roman city of Pompeii

You will then make the final 25-minute hike up to the top, zigzagging along a path of volcanic gravel. Once at the summit, peer into the 700 foot deep and 2000 foot wide crater of the Vesuvius—both the destroyer and guardian of Pompeii and Herculaneum—and enjoy unparalleled views of the Peninsula of Sorrento and the islands of Capri, Ischia, and Procida. then after the visit of the vulcano we can drive to the city of Naples for to see the best parts of the city, and then if we have time we can spend the time left in Pompeii. we can also stop in the cameos factory.
From Sorrento to Naples there are a lot interesting sites, such Pompeii, Herculaneum, Mt. Vesuvius, Naples Metropolitan city who can also give the opportunity of to spend free time by your own in the historical area, eat the famous Neapolitan Pizza, take a view of the bay of Naples from the port of Margellina etc.

We have a great trip with Angelo. He took us to all the places we want to go Pompei, Mount Versuvius, and Herculaneum. A long the way he give us pointers to where to go and what to expect. Great tour! We'll see him again when we get back to Sorrento.
