Off -the-beaten-path tour
By visiting neighbourhoods that are off the beaten path of the usual highlighted tour areas of Singapore, you are able to get more of a sense of what everyday life is like for the locals.
The first thing you'd see are rows and rows of apartment blocks. More than 80% of Singaporeans live in these government-built flats, which are kept affordable. Have fun visiting a 'town centre' where you can find the estate's transport hub, along with the neighbourhood shopping mall and local clubs .
You will 'go native' further by visiting a 'hawker centre'; a uniquely Singaporean invention. These hawker centres typically house several tens of stalls selling a variety of hawker fare that was once sold along Singapore streets.

A must do tour for anybody interested in experiencing Singapore from a different point of view. A true local experience. Monica was great: nice, friendly and sharing lots of information about Singapore and the HDB.
