Three hours private family-friendly tour
I am a mum of a five year old girl and I know what it is travelling with little one, so let me take you and your family through the mysterious Siena with its secret corners and streets, where stories of the old days are just waiting for you.
We will start from one of the most imposing medieval gates of the city "porta San Marco" and we will continue through some of the districts of the city, their fountains, their towers. Like middle ages people, we will walk along the footstep of the old pilgrims and we will visit the Santa Maria della Scala old Hospital, his tunnels and frescos. Michelangelo and Donatello are waiting for you in the Duomo and then we will continue to one of the "contrada", of the city where we can learn more about the horse race, this ancient tradition, his costumes, flags and colors. We will continue to the medieval narrow corner where there is the stable and where the horse is taken during the palio's days. Our tour will finish in the Campo square, the heart of this incredible city.
We will cover the city most important highlights. From Porta San Marco, entrance of the town to the Duomo, Cathedral square, Santa Maria della Scala old Hospital, to the heart of few districts, along the main street Via di Città and we will end in the Campo Square.
