Spectacular waterfalls with private guide: mysterious & unique
In any given day, the Plitvice Lakes in Croatia can emit hues ranging from green and grey to blue and azure. Minerals and organisms residing in the series of sixteen interconnected lakes in combination with shifting sunlight provide this spectacular rainbow dance several times a day. Add to that the waterfall connecting the separate lakes and the surrounding woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, and birds, and the Plitvice Lakes are something out of a fairytale.
Just a two hours drive and we'll reach the first National Park proclaimed in Croatia, since 1949: The Plitvice lakes.
The Plitvice lakes inspired people for thousands of years - it is a place of immeasurable beauty, and an outstanding outdoor laboratory and classroom.
The park was inscribed on the UNESCO World Natural Heritage List in 1979 in recognition of its "outstanding natural beauty, and the undisturbed production of travertine (tufa) through chemical and biological action".
It would be my pleasure to have you here. . .

I have probably never had a guide with so much skill. Frane knows so much and if he doesn't know the answer he is very honest about that. He is not your typical tour guide, who has memorized some information about people and places, but rather has an unsurpassed passion for his country, so that his knowledge is rich, personal and extensive. His love for this place radiates from him, from his eyes, from his smile, from his body language. The fact that he is very handsome just adds to the experience!
