Walking tour around historical center of Vladivostok
This 2, 5 hours walking tour is around historical center of Vladivostok. There's no better way to explore a new city then by foot!
History of Vladivostok before revolution was a great mix of Russian, Chinese, Japanese and German culture. All these people left imprint on the face of the city.
I'll show you the most interesting places and tell stories of brave and successful people who lived here and developed this area from the very beginning. I'll try to share with you my passion to the history and to my city!
We'll begin from the central railway station. Then proceed to the old Brynner's villa. Yes, you are right - the famous Hollywood actor Yul Brynner was born here, in Vladivostok. Then I'll show and tell you urban legends about Grey Horse - great building of Soviet Times. The next point - the old China Town.
Then we'll see the former building of Japanese consulate and I'll tell you about life of Japanese expats here before revolution.
Then we'll walk along Svetlanskaya street. I'll show you old-fashioned mansions where before revolution were the biggest Trading Houses and commercial apartments and tell you success stories of their owners. With me you can immerse in the atmosphere of old city and get to know its inhabitants.

I took the half day walking tour. Elena was quite informative, told us the history of the city that we were not aware of. Upon our question, she recommended us a good Russian restaurant. We tried it for dinner and it was very nice. Thank you Elena.
