Tasty traditional tapas in historical culture filled locations
Welcome to Jerez, known for its delicious Sherry wine, beautiful majestic horses, and of course the expressive gypsy dance, flamenco.
Although the true origins of Jerez are still somewhat of a mystery, many attribute the creation of this majestic city to the Phoenicians who were the first to bring winemaking to the region. Regardless of who established the city in the beginning, the ancestors of Jerez have all played their role in shaping this area into a well-known landmark through its wine, horses, and dance.
Come join us while we tour around this city and discover why it is such an important landmark. From its unique white grapes that have made Jerez the world's capital of sherry wine; To the Carthusian horses (Caballo cartujana) whose bloodline was jealously guarded by the monks of the city for four hundred years; To the history and culture of flamenco.
