Welcome to Shanghai!
This one day highlight old and new tour will take you to discovery both the old and new Shanghai, you will visit the major tour sites which includes historical colonial area at the Bund, Ming and Qing Dynasties old traditional Chinese architecture as well as the spectacular modern skyscrapers and some of the off-the beaten areas which are disappearing in the fast development of the urban city, experience the local culture, history, life with the local expert guide and travel around the city by public transit (taxi, metro). Don't miss it!

Some tips for you:
1. As the tour does not include private car and driver, it's suitable for small group. If you have larger group pls feel free to contact and I will cater to your needs. You are welcome to tell me any your interests or requests in the tour so that I can adjust the itinerary based on your preference!

Itinerary

Guide meet@ your downtown hotel or other place in SH.
Suggested itineary:
1stvist Lujiazui area which only developed 25 years ago from swamp, now it's the"forest of skycrappers"here you will choose to go upto one of observation deck of the tall tower to have panoramic view of mega city. If you do not like tower optional choice will be provided.
2nd take ferry cross Hungpu river to the Bund to enjoy the spledid view along Riverside;
Then head to"Nanshi"old area where you will visit 800 years old confucius temple and the off-the beaten areas which are gradually disappearing with the fast development of the city;
Lunch break at a local nice restaurant.
Afternoon Yu garden/old town bazaar, visit the 500 years old Ming-Era classic garden and the " China town" bazaar in Shanghai;
Your last stop will be the french concession Xintiandi which features typical Shanghai"Shikumen"house, now full of bars, cafes, great place to sit down enjoy a drink and have a perfect taste of European glamour and romance.
