An Introduction to Savannah
The City Stroll is THE tour you want to take if it's your first time to Savannah.
Starting at Johnson Square (the original square), we give you the history and purpose behind Savannah's founding. Then we take you on a leisurely walk through the Historical District. All the while discussing a little more history, some of the Homes, and a movie or two amongst other things.
All in all, this is a perfect way to introduce you to the City of Savannah.
Starting at Johnson Square, you are given a history of the founding of Savannah. The reason behind it, and how that came to pass.
Then begins a leisurely stroll that loops throughout the Historic District.
Savannah was built on the Yamacraw Bluff on the north bank of the Savannah River. The city grew from north to south, So, we will work our south towards the end of the Historic District, before looping back towards the River.
Along the way we will walk through several of the squares, and see most of the famous houses, churches and other historic buildings. We will also pass by several of the great restaurants and other places of interest.
Along the way, I encourage you to ask any question that comes to mind. We have the time to discuss any topic along the way.
As I tell all my guest, when you finish this tour, you will know more about Savannah than most of the locals.

Andrew was great and our 3 teenagers enjoyed. We all learned a lot and still talk about it. They want to make a return trip for a ghost tour! Highly recommend the private tour!
