San Miguel Allende Tour

San Miguel is a vibrant artists colony filled with historical monuments, galleries, and restaurants. Many of the locals run their shops and business from their homes. On this tour I can show you some of the public areas where women wash their clothes, walk through the park where local artists display their work. There are two open air markets not to mention the numerous vegetable and flower stands all over town. I am happy to customize a tour including any of the wonderful destinations San Miguel has to offer. Thermal hot springs, we have a beautiful glass factory. I know many artists who work from their homes, this is a great way to gain a personal relationship with the artists. Ask me about the textile weavers and ceramic tile artists. Regardless of what you do, San Miguel is a magical town that once you've been here, you wont want to leave.

A Recent Review of this tour

What a wonderful walking tour we had with BETTY. She knows the city so well. Betty took us to local markets and explained the different produce that we might not be familiar with and took us to the beautiful communities that are all around San Miguel. Betty knows so much about the history of the area and I felt that I had a good grasp of the area that my daughter, son and I visited. She also gave us great recommendations of vegan restaurants. Who would know that - Betty did ! She is a GREAT guide
