We will meet in front of the Templo de San Francisco, on calle San Francisco at 10:00 A. M. We will walk just a block and a half up to, La Esquina. This is a fun whimsical Toy Museum with a fabulous roof top terrace. A top the hill lies the old Rancho Hotel Atascadero. It once was a bustling hacienda, then later a well known equestrian riding school. It now is one of the most tranquil, lovely settings a top San Miguel. This is where we break for snack or lunch. (optional)
We will then head back down visiting El Chorro, its church and the waterworks (public laundry). This historic site is now a center for culture and arts.
The tour will end at the Parque Juarez (French Park) a lovely shady park, where on week ends there is an Art Walk.
It is easy to return to any location from here as it is very centrally located.

A Recent Review of this tour

Betty is a great resource because she has a lot of childhood memories here in San Miguel. We saw a lot of the city and she recommended a lot of places because she lives in central San Miguel. Very warm person and customized the tour for us. When we come back with the rest of our family we will do another tour with her
