Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and enjoy a half-day tour of Muir Woods, Mill Valley, and Sausalito
Just 12 miles north of San Francisco are the giant redwood trees in Muir Woods. After the hike we'll visit Mill Valley (voted one of the Top 20 small towns in the US by Smithsonian magazine) and then later stroll the idyllic bay community of Sausalito with plenty of shops, restaurants, and art galleries.
Please note Muir Woods now requires vehicle reservations to drive into the park. Prior to accepting your booking request, I'll let you know the times available to visit Muir Woods if I can't get a reservation at your preferred time.
The National Park Service does not allow guides to lead tours in the park, so I will talk to you about Muir Woods during our drive but will let you stroll through the redwoods on your own.

Norman made himself available on 48 hours notice and provided an excellent tailored tour of parts of San Francisco and environs, including the Muir Woods. He's friendly, very knowledgeable, an excellent driver and made certain that we got to see the the points of interest we wanted. He also suggested several great spots to visit which we had not known about. I highly recommend him.
