Premium Wines, Great Food and Local people
San Antonio is the largest in terms of freight handled and the busiest in the western coast of South America. I will pick you up from the cruise terminal and take you to the winery Francisco Undurraga, he was one of the pioneers in the Chilean viticulture and winemaking. in the province of Talagante where he planted vines which he had brought personally from Europe in lead capsules in order to resist the passage through the tropics. At present Viña Undurraga exports its wine to more than 70 countries in the five continents. We will tour the beautiful gardens designed by the renowned French landscaper Pierre Dubois, visit their facilities and sample their signature wines. Then continue to the artisan's village of Pomaire, famous for its local pottery & their local food. Here we will have a GREAT Chilean lunch and then walk along the local street, with artists making handcraft out of clay. After this shower of culture and good times we will go back to Santiago!

We had a fabulous time! Mauricio spoke excellent English, and was extremely entertaining. We visited an excellent winery and then had a relaxing lunch. We explored a town known for its pottery, and got to our cruise ship with time to spare. Thanks to all!
