The history of Salzburg and the unique beauty of the country was always fascinating me. Very early I was very much interested in the hidden gems as well as the top tourist attractions of Austria and later, as a student I travelled to most European cities and regions with the same aim, looking for hidden gems and the best sightseeing routes.
I have worked as professional tour guide in Salzburg, Austria since 1996. In 2001 I've founded a travel company focusing on small and individual tour groups with tours in Salzburg, Austria and all over central Europe. Germany with Bavaria, Northern Italy and Switzerland were added to the private tour schedule of my company. I still love to be a tour guide and almost every day I'm pleased to show my clients the real Austria as local guide.
My aim and commitment to all my clients is personal attention, professional tour service, customize the tours to the individual needs of my clients and maximum comfort. I do not mix groups - it is your vehicle with your professional local tour guide, for your group only. If you wish to explore Austria with a real local, let us get in touch.
Salzburg, in the heart of Europe, offers a great selection of many different sightseeing destinations. I use for all tours a luxury Minivan or on request a BMW X-1, which is even in a small city like Salzburg very practical and enables you to see much more than just walking through the town.
For a first-time visitor I can recommend the Bavarian Mountains (Eagle's Nest, Salt Mines, King's Lake), Hallstatt and Zell am See Alpine Village next to many other sightseeing destinations. It will be up to you to either spend a day away from the typical Salzburg tourist attractions or visit the sites trending in Salzburg right now.
On request I also offer bicycle, hiking and ski tours in Salzburg and surroundings.

We had a wonderful day visiting beautiful lakes, 5 Fingers Lookout, and Hallstatt. Manfred was very informative and accommodating. Enjoyed the tour in every way!
