See panoramas and history at elevations of over 3.000 feet; follow the border between Vosges and Alsace with a private guide.
Apart from our "Wine" and "Strasbourg" tours, one of our other (future) tours is: "Storybook villages in Alsace".
But there is more to be seen! How about exploring the Vosges moutains via the famous "Route des Cretes"? This is a route over the top of the mountains from North to South or vice versa. Most of this route is at an elevation in excess of 950 m (3, 117 ft), with the highest point being at the Col du Grand Ballon (1, 343 m (4, 406 ft)). You will see breath taking panoramas. We will pass silver mines, old farms, the Freundstein (the highest castle in Alsace) and a 1st Worldwar munument.
After your pick up we drive via Selestat to Sainte Marie aux Mines and its silver mines. Then we climb to the Col du Bonhomme and among others the Col de la Schlucht. Along the way we will have coffee, lunch and tea breaks at very photogenic points.
The route ends at the village of Thann. Via part of the wine route we will then drive back north and finally drop you off at your destination.
After your pick up we wil drive to Saint Marie aux Mines and then follow the Route des Cretes over the Grand Ballon, Cols like "La Schlucht" all the way to Thann.
From the Thann/ Cernay area we will take the highway back to your drop off location.
