Get amazed listening and seeing where everything started

My studies at Rome University gave me an overall view of Roman History, from pre-historical to contemporary times, which I like to share with my guests. The tour starts with the National Roman Archelogical Museum" Museo delle Terme di Diocleziano", that hosts amazing remainings of prehistoric Rome. Please make sure to have ID card or passports with you. Later, crossing the street, we'll visit Palazzo Massimo that houses one of the world's most important collections of Classical Ancient and Imperial Rome art, including frescoes from the summer residence of Ottaviano Augusto. At the end of these two visits by taxi we'll get to the Capitol Hill where we'll visit the amazing Capitoline Museum built over two of the most ancient Temples of Rome: Veiove and Jupiter. We'll be inside the Roman Archives overlooking the Roman Forum. Who were the Etruscans? Who the Latins? Where did they come from? Who built Rome, and how? To all these questions we'll try to get an answer.

A Recent Review of this tour

Our 4 hour tour with Sergio through the archeological museum, forum and colosseum was wonderful. The weather was hot and we got a little crabby but Sergio was very upbeat and a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot of the history of the places we toured. Thank you Sergio! Sue and Tom and family
