My husband and I spent four delightful hours with Nicoletta. She took us to Academia and to Scuola Grande di San Rocco. She was wonderfully knowledgeable and with a light touch, enlightening. Nicoletta is also very pleasant and we learned from her a lot about life in Venice in addition to the art.

Nicoletta did a great job. She was 10-15min late because of traffic and called us in advance. She more than made up for it. I had already visited Venice in the past and knew certain things, she gave us all kinds of insights and her explanations were spot on. I would certainly recommend her. She is extremely familiar with the area and can get you into any museum in Venice. My two daughters had a blast and my wife was very happy.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you, Philippe! I wait for you and for all tour friends in Venice :-)

Nicoletta met us on time and showed us 2 museums: dell'Accademia and Ca'Rezzonico. We spent about 2 hours in each place. She was friendly, articulate and an excellent English speaker. An actual art historian who studied in Venice, she was able to tell us in detail about the artists we saw, their techniques, their style, and the history in which their paintings were created, which was what we'd hoped for. The mystery surrounding a painting by Giorgione, done over another canvas, was especially intriguing.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you, Laura!! You were two very stimulating listeners ;-) Just to be precise ;-) The Giorgione's painting was not painted over another canvas: Giorgione did it on that canvas, then he painted some different details changing completely its meaning. It had been wonderful to meet you! Thank you!!! :-)
