Tour: Nagoya Castle and Arimatsu, Nagoya, Japan
Date: Oct 15/18

Kumi waited 90 minutes for our group to go through lengthy immigration process at cruise ship terminal. She was there waiting in the rain for us. As our time was curtailed she made best use of it before we had to return to ship. She was very knowledgeable and adaptable. Nothing was too much trouble. Her English is excellent. We really enjoyed the Arimatsu portion of our tour. Would highly recommend this guide.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you Gavin for your warm feedback! From my side, I greatly appreciate your effort to come out early and waiting in line for 90 minutes for the immigration clearance...! I am happy to know you all enjoyed time in Arimatsu despite the long journey from the port. I'm looking forward to your return to Nagoya/Central Japan area so that I can take you to other splendid places around here!

Tour: Nagoya Castle and Inuyama Castle, Nagoya, Japan
Date: Nov 20/17

Kumi guided my son and I through a fantastic day tour of two castles - Nagoya and Inuyama. We loved seeing the contrast of the two castles, and I thoroughly enjoyed our many conversations with Kumi. She also helped me skip the line and make rail reservations for the remaining week of our trip. Highly recommended!!!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you very much for your feedback, Mark!! I also had a great time with you two and feel lucky I was given a chance to be a part of your father-and-son adventure in Japan! I hope to see you and your wonderful family again in Central Japan; there's still more to see and experience here :)

Tour: Blueberry picking in Aichi, Nagoya, Japan
Date: Jun 3/17

Kumi was a great guide who took us to a blueberry farm. She shared with us stories about her stints in Singapore and also told us about the culture of Nagoya which was intriguing. She took great care of our young daughter who calls her "Auntie Blueberry" and also shared great tips of picking the sweet blueberries. Thanks a lot to Kumi!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you very much Andy!! It was my pleasure to accompany you and your wonderful family to the farm. I'm looking forward to seeing you and your family here... Do come over to Mie next time around! "Auntie Blueberry" will look for places that'd entertain your little girl again!

We are touched by Kumi's personal concern to us. We are a family of five and throughout the duration of the tour, she was able to fit in and became a part of our family so to say, helping us out and doing her best to accommodate our requests. Looking forward to coming back to Japan and definitely, we will still request for Kumi to be our guide. She is quite an asset to your company.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you so much for taking your time writing a feedback for me! I also enjoyed guiding you and your family in Nagoya though I am a bit worried you might have been exhausted from a busy day! I'll try to improve my pacing and planning and be well prepared to see you again here in Central Japan area :)

Tour: Nagoya Matsuri 2015, Nagoya, Japan
Date: Oct 18/15

Personable, well spoken, Kumi was an absolute delight in showcasing the Nagoya Matsuri and Castle, nabbing a front row seat for the exciting Domannaka Dance Finale. The second day was delectable, Ise Grand Shrine honoured, followed by a delightful lunch, a visit to her father-in-law's Buddhist Temple in Tsu, lessons in tea ceremony and calligraphy by charming associates. I would have enjoyed other of Kumi's offerings, Toba, Shima, Iga, rather than days in Tokyo or Kyoto. A superb guide. Thank you. Andy

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you so much for your feedback, Andy! I had a fantastic time accompanying you for two days, and would have loved to show you more of what we have here in Mie Prefecture. I'm looking forward to seeing you and your family (perhaps your granddaughter!) here in Japan and in Mie again :)

Tour: Mitsubishi Auto Gallery and Nagoya, Nagoya, Japan
Date: Apr 20/15

We were highly impressed with the standard of our tour. Our guide had put in considerable thought to our itinerary, and went over and above our expectations. She was punctual, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and caring. We would highly recommend her to anyone searching for a guide. Thank you Kumi, we had a wonderful day.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you Roger, it was my pleasure to accompany you and Joe to Mitsubishi Auto Gallery!! Your expertise on Mitsubishi cars enabled me to know about their fascinating cars (and I might end up purchasing a Mitsubishi car myself!). For your next trip to Japan, I hope you visit Nagoya and Mie and stay around for few days ;) Looking forward to seeing you again!!

We had a fantastic day with Kumi. In fact, we've used many tour guides, but Kumi is the new gold standard. We were in Nagoya for just one day and Kumi worked hard to fit in our many requests. We hope to go back to Japan soon and will definitely plan our visit around her availability. She is bright, fun, and flexible. Her English is PERFECT which made it easy for her to share information, humor, and stories. All four in our group felt the same: we enjoyed every minute.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you so much for your comment´╝îLinda!!! I myself had a wonderful day in Nagoya with you and your buddies and I missed you all just after being together for 6 hours ;) Do come back again to Japan because we still have a lot of things for you to see and experience!

Tour: Nagoya, Ise and Mikimoto Pearl Island, Nagoya, Japan
Date: Nov 27/14

At the end of our two days with Kumi, she was more like a friend rather than a guide. She's a great communicator and can relate very well to my two daughters. She took the time to understand what we wanted to see or do and we achieved much during our time. A nice personal touch is a handwritten note to welcome us at the hotel upon our arrival.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you very much for taking your precious time to give me your feedback, Winston! It was my pleasure to accompany you and your beautiful family around Nagoya and Mie. There are still lot of things to see and experience around here in Central Japan (e.g. savoring Matsusaka Beef at Matsusaka!), and I hope I can see you all very soon in Japan or even in Singapore!!
