Kenji knew his history very well and explained Shinto and took us to several interesting shrines. The fish market is mind boggling and not to be missed. We lunched at one of the best and oldest noodle shops in Tokyo. We saw and learned an enormous amount in one day thanks to Kenji. Hint: Do a little research in advance so you have some ideas of what you want to see.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hello Bruce, I recall with a happy memory the chilly but sunny morning when I met you and Karen at a Ryokan, Japanese traditional inn, located just in front of Narita-san Shinshoji Buddhist Temple. I am glad to know that you learned something about Shinto, Japan's indigenous religion. Many thanks for your good rating on me. Kenji
