Sorry, we got the basics of what we paid for but it was not as good as other reviews said. A lot of time was wasted waiting in a queue (2hours) for our lunch restaurant when this could have been avoided if the driver had gone and taken a queue number while we were touring the island on Westlake. I got the impression that the guide was not so well-informed about Shanghai and Hangzhou (eg where to buy tickets,ATMS, opening times of restaurants, brought us to a silk shop which she had never been to before)
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Sorry to hear that you were disappointed - my principle is to always treat my every client from my heart and sometimes they have different expectations. We missed our time slot, but I think we spent altogether 2 hours in this restaurant - it is very popular. I'm not sure about the ticket comment as we bought boat tickets right at the wharf and I had pre-booked the show tickets and collected them at the box office. I don't go silk shopping but found 2 non-touristy places that had the brands wanted.
TOURSBYLOCALS RESPONSE: We've spoken to Sunny about this tour. She actually did get the driver to take a queue number, but by the time they got to the restaurant the slot had been taken. This particular restaurant is very popular and Ms Goh really wanted to go there. Regarding the ATMs, it needed to be an HSBC bank and they are not that common in Hangzhou.
