The Garden District is very interesting for its great 19th Century house which are all still family homes. Dominick was very knowledgeable about the whole area. The Commandeers Palace is a fabulous restaurant and we had a world class meal and experience there.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: I am glad you took the time to see the Garden District neighborhood and compare it to the French Quarter. It is representative of the wealth that was present here in the 1800s in New Orleans as a result of the port's development. I am glad you enjoyed Commander's and thanks again for all the meals we shared. Hope to see you again. Dominick
