The 4 day tour was overall average. The first 2 1/2 days was what we expected the last 1 1/2 days we could have skipped. We drove to Quin and stayed at Abby on the Tavern which was a fair place. We waited until 10AM this next morning to see the Abby which was not worth the wait. The rest of the day we drove to Galway for a 30 minute tour, then to Dublin, without stopping for lunch or seeing anything but highway. We were dropped off at our Hotel at 3:45P. He seemed focused on getting back to Killarney.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Day 3 also included The Cliffs of Moher & Visitors Centre, a Motor Tour of The Burren National Park, Liscannor, Lahinch and onto Quin which were to be done on Day 4. Unfortunately Quin Abbey changed it official weekly 'Closed Day' to Monday so it was necessary to wait until 10am on Tuesday to view The Abbey. The Itinerary for Day 4 was completed on Day 3 to accommodate this. The journey from Galway to Dublin is served by a motorway and the clients had indicated their wish to be in Dublin for 4pm on Day 4.
TOURSBYLOCALS RESPONSE: The 4 day tour was delivered 2 days by Ann and 2 days by her husband and fellow guide Ray. The arrangement was brought up to the customer prior to the creation of the booking and accepted by the customer.
