We had a great tour with Melvyn along the Freedom Trail that gave us a great overview of Boston. Melvyn also told us of snippits history that you probably wouldn't read in a guide book. Melvyn was a lovely host and introduced us to Boston wonderfully.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Many thx for coming on my Heart of the Freedom Trail tour. It was a special treat to share all of these special places with you. I hope you enjoyed the Red Sox win at Fenway last night and enjoy the rest of your vacation in New England. When you loop back through Boston at the end of your trip, feel free to contact me if you have any questions about restaurants or any sightseeing. Cheers, and warm regards! Mel

Melvyn's tour was so enjoyable. He's a wealth of knowledge about the city, it's history and architecture. We got a great sense of the part Boston played in the War of Independence and the a good sense of the city itself. Would recommend going on a walk with him if history is your thing.

Tour: Boston Architecture Walking Tour, Boston, Massachusetts, United States
Date: Nov 9/14

With a tight time frame between events and a keen interest in history, gardens and architecture, Mel proved to be the perfect guide. I said "Mel, regardless of what your itinerary says, take me to as many places that feature things that interest me as possible". Mel brought Beacon Hill, window gardens, varied architecture and many personalities alive. Loved the stop at John Kerry's home and a private park nearby. The 9-11 memorial and his suggestions for restaurants and future tours were spot on.
