He was on time meeting us at Cafe Slavia, had a coffee as we finished lunch and we got on the 22 bus to the top of the hill. He was funny, fascinating, colorful and humorous w/ suggestions about things to see after the tour. He pointed historical points of interest, was knowledgeable about history, at the castle and old town square. Restaurants around the Powder Tower in Old town, tidbits about places to eat and how make the most of our stay. He was great. It was a great intro to a number of sites.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thanks so much Karen for your detailed praises and general reference - it was also a pleasure to meet you all and nice to hear how my tour was so appreciated - and even my humoUr - note the correct spelling!! Happy travels and hope to see you again. Best wishes David

David showed us many new areas of Prague that we did not discover on our last guided tour. He was very pleasant and very knowledgeable of Prague other than the areas that everyone can see on their own. Would highly recommend David as a Prague guide.
David was a 'different' guide, in a good way. We spent the afternoon walking around Prague seeing not just the usual tourist sights but enjoyed the different architectural styles being pointed out as we wandered down back streets and alleyways off the main areas. Thanks David for a great tour.

David provided a spectacular tour of Prague. His comprehensive overview was beyond what we expected. It was clear he really enjoys sharing his city and all it has to offer with you. We particularly enjoyed his architectural and cultural insights. David, thanks for providing us such a great experience.

David was personable and knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with. Prague is a difficult city to navigate when you first arrive, so his orientation tour was appreciated. We ended up revisiting some the sites he pointed out. As a student of architecture he was especially good at denoting the different characteristics of the buildings we went into.

What a great tour we had with David. We saw so much of Prague and it's beautiful architecture. David gave us a better understanding of the culture and art of this wonderful city. We loved covering the non tourist areas. David also took us to a beautiful place for coffee and a wonderful little local place for lunch. It was really a delightful day. Thank you David!
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thanks a lot Doris and friends - it was a pleasure and happy that I could share my enthusiasm and love of Prague with you and have a chat over lunch at the 15th century pub! Happy travels to you all.

David was very knowledgeable about the city of Prague and other cities we are visiting as well. In addition to a wonderful tour David was very helpful in reccomendations of activities and showing the ropes of public transit etc. The tour included inside looks with a historical/Architectual explinantion and some fun legend about the places you might just walk by otherwise. Prague is a beautiful city with a rich culture and having David show us around gave is a better feel of everything Prague.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Nice to meet you and glad you enjoyed the tour and now know your way around a bit better. Thanks for the nice review. Have a good rest of holiday and happy travels. David

David gave us a fabulous express orientation tour in French ( his French is perfect ! ) He is extremely knowledgable and adapted the tour to our needs and speed. He gave us lots of interesting asides and facts and took us to some wonderful places that we would have not discovered by ourselves. He made the tour extremely worth while. We will definitely be recommending him to all our friends.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Many thanks and it was a pleasure meeting you all. A la prochaine. David

You can always see the sites of Prague but to understand the history and architecture, this is where David shines in his scope of knowledge. David also provided tidbits of information that made our time in Prague more manageable and enjoyable - location of farmer's market, Cafe Louve, etc. We highly recommendation David's services to anyone.

The weather was chilly, wet and dreary, but David made Prague shine! It was our first time in Prague and he could not have created a more wonderful, personal, educational and interesting introduction to this wonderful city. His knowledge of art and architecture was extensive, plus he also knew some 'secret' places to have a coffee and enjoy the culture. We used so much of what he shared during the rest of our trip. Many thanks David!
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: It was a pleasure to share this historic city with such nice people and get to know you better! Thanks for your nice comments...it means a lot and keeps me going and active till a ripe old age!! Happy travels and come back to Europe soon. David

The best travel guide we have ever had. Very intelligent, extremely well-traveled, knowledgeable and friendly. He even helped us plan future vacations to Switzerland and Russia. I would recommend David to everyone!!!
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: It was a pleasure and nice to meet you both and end with a refreshing monk's beer at the Strahov Monastery. I am sure you will love Russia in the snow but if it gets to -10c buy a fur hat like the locals! Thanks a lot and happy travels.

We had a group of six, active seniors and met David on two different days in Prague to tour the Old Town and then across the river to the castle complex. He was outstanding and so easy to understand, and he was extremely helpful with advising us on what to do during the time we were not touring with him, helping us with suggestions for dining and for riding the trolley system. David showed us a delightful outdoor cafe where we enjoyed the local beers with him. I would highly recommend him.

This was the first of two tours that we (a group of six) had with David (November, 2015). We met him at an agreed upon location in Old Town as our hotel was three trolley stops from there. David shared his vast knowledge of the architecture and the history of Prague. Since our second tour would be the next afternoon, he offered great suggestions about what to do the following morning as we only had the two days in Prague. David was fantastic and we could not have had a better guide.

The tour of the Mucha canvasses was great. But we did not do much else, although we did walk past some art nouveau buildings. I had looked forward to more in that regard. Part of the problem is that we did not have tram tickets, and it took quite a while to procure them.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank-you,I will for sure have extra tram tickets next time. I had assumed I would get them at one of the shops nearby but that was not the case.I'm glad you enjoyed the experience of seeing/learning more about the Slav Epics.I should have called time sooner in the cafe but we were having quite an interesting exchange and I wanted you to rest a little before the trip back.I will be sure to ask the clients next time if they want to see/visit anything else in the centre so we can plan the time accordingly.

Our tour with David was a "customized" one, since we wanted to see the Slav Epic. He was extremely helpful in getting us there and back via public transportation, interpreting this marvelous series of paintings, and showing us other artistic highlights of the city. Highly recommend this visit....the Epic will be leaving for Asia sometime next fall. See it now!!

David enthusiastically greeted us and thoroughly guided us thru Prague. His knowledge of Czech history/culture, especially art and architecture, was terrific. The overview he gave us of Prague helped us plan the rest of our trip and included tips for great eating spots. His insider knowledge of the alleys and byways of Old and New Town was very helpful. He enjoys answering questions with his excellent English which made for a very engaging tour of the city.

David was an incredible guide. Our family group ranged in age from 27-56 and he was able to relate and connect with every single one of us. David was intelligent, entertaining, accommodating and most of all well versed in the history and modern culture of Prague. He took us off the beaten path to explore little gems throughout the city. Mid way we found ourselves enjoying a coffee on a secret rooftop restaurant with a breathtaking view of the heart of old town. It couldn't have been better-Book Him!!!

David is brilliant. His knowledge of art history and architecture is above excellent. I enjoy different architectural styles, so we used our 1st day to tour the city and look at buildings. I realize that we spent too much time on this topic. Possibly a museum visit would have complimented his knowledge. We did visit several out of the way restaurants to see the decor, that we would not have found on our own. Day 2 - The Castle District with David was AWESOME!

OK, but i think there was some confusion in what was to be covered. We originally booked a two hour overview tour with Roman. Neither Roman nor the two hour two are on your site anymore, so i can't check to be sure, but quite sure that the things that were described to be covered on the tour were not (e.g.: John Lennon wall). We were given a different guide who did a fine job, but not outstanding. Was a bit disappointed.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thanks for the feedback but in a 2 hour tour it was not possible to cover all the sites so I focused on the area around Old Town Square. The John Lennon Wall is the other side of the Charles Bridge in Mala Strana so when more than 2 hours had passed I made the bridge the end point of the tour marking on a map the location of the wall and other sites. Naturally if I had known that the bridge and the wall were vital elements of the tour I would have cut short some of the other sites. Best wishes.
