Talika was unable to give the tour and her partner, Cameron, filled in. He was accommodating to our requests, but we felt that his knowledge of Melbourne was not as complete as we would have expected . Not sure about some landmarks, cost of housing, tourists from cruise ships lifestyle and different communities. Somewhat dissapointing

Talika and her driver husband are great tour guides. Their tour Best Yarra Valley Winery Tour was our most fun day of our trip. Talika has a wonderful warm, genuine and pleasant way about her. She is knowledgeable of the area and of the wines. Her husband adds a lot on some topics also. They are both so much fun to be with. She added a gin tasting event at Four Pillars and that turned out to be very interesting and a great hit with my group of 6 retired people. I would highly recommend he.

If this were a 10 point rating scale, we would give Talika and Cam a "10". They work so well together and did a fabulous job of customizing on the spot based on the hot weather. They asked about our interests and took it from there. We loved the uniqueness of the Rickerts sanctuary, the beauty of mount Dandenong, the Soumah winery, the wildlife sanctuary and being introduced to the culture and city of Melbourne. They made this a highlight of our trip!

cameron gave us a very personal and non tourist day.He took us to the most beautiful rhododendron gardens at peak bloom as it was spring,I could have stayed there forever! He came equipped with umbrellas for us!.We went to his favorite local meat pie restaurant and took us to go.He took us to a beautiful treed area to have a picnic lunch. This was an important area for him as he had gotten married there. He gave us such a warm and special day! We had so much fun with him and really enjoyed our day!

Talika & Cam were prompt, attentive & friendly guides providing commentary along the tour and answering our questions about the area. The van was comfortable for 5 guests plus the 2 of them, and they provided bottled water and a couple of umbrellas due to rain at the Penguin Parade. We most enjoyed the Maru Wildlife Park & the interaction with the many animals & the time allowed for taking photos with the animals. Good sheep shearing demo at Churchill, spectacular coastline scenery, & adorable penguins.

We had a super day with Talika and Cameron. We were interested in doing some sightseeing as well as wine tasting so they adapted the tour to include the Dandenong Mountains and the William Ricketts sanctuary, both very impressive. We had a delicious lunch at the Yering Station winery and visited one other older "boutique" winery. Both Talika and Cameron were very knowledgeable about the area. All in all a very good tour.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Hi Jill, Thank you so much for your review. We had a super time with you in the Yarra Valley region. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable journey on the cruise ship. Kind regards, Tali and Cam

Talika & Cameron were wonderful & deserve 5 stars; knowledgable & personable-made it easy to converse w/them. We felt safe (great driving); felt like being on tour w/good friends; seeing the new born calf on Churchhill Isle & being so close to the joeys in their mama's pouches at Maru Wildlife Park were surely just a few of the highlights (thanks to Cameron's keen eyes). Very satisfied!

This was one the best tours I have ever been on, Talika and Cameron were fun and informative, it felt like old friends showing you their part of the world. Highly recommended, they are best. Every site visited was ahead of other larger tours, often times you had the places free of crowds, and truly memorable experiences. Can't rate them high enough!!!

This was an amazing tour, the vistas were incredible, feeding wild parrots, and spotting wild koalas was exciting. The rainforest walk with the enormous trees was incredible. More importantly it was the guides, Talika and Cameron that made the tour, they are fun, and the whole day, flew buy. If your in Melbourne, and really want to have a memorable tour, these guys are the way to go. Also ask Cameron for a Mintie he always has plenty.

Talika and her husband Cameron are wonderful tour guides. They are very knowledgeable about Melbourne and drove us through the main part of the city making sure we saw all the interesting side streets. They also showed us many surrounding neighborhoods and explained what makes each one unique.(We requested a tour with a minimum of walking.)They even drove on the Australian Grand Prix track which was very exciting. My husband & I enjoyed spending the day with them while we learned about their city. Gloria

This team is prompt and friendly. They are flexible and suggested Cloudehill Gardens which were beautiful. We needed more time at Sky High for their gardens. Although we did not see any kangaroos in Cardinia Park, we appreciated the opportunity to view it for its water storage. The Puffing Billy ride was charming and delightful. We look forward to learning more about the area from the books we purchased today. The William Ricketts Sanctuary was unique. My husband fed cockatoos. There is much to see here.

My group of family and friends really enjoyed our day with Talika and Cameron. We started with a visit to a winery in Mornington Peninsula and then proceeded on to Phillip's Island with stops at the Maru Wildlife Park, Churchill Island, the Nobbies, and finally the Penguin Parade - definitely a must see! Although we covered a lot of ground, each stop really added to our experience. We also appreciated their flexibility in choosing our dinner options. Thanks again for a terrific day!

Great guide for a sampling of many Melbourne and outer area sights. Wine and chocolate were a big hit as well as the old work camp ...

Talika and Cameron were a great team giving our tour a special feel. We enjoyed Cameron's safe driving and comfortable vehicle for our adventures. We took one of their many tours and enjoyed the landscape and conversation. We saw wallabies, black swans, wombats, kookabubrras, little penguins and an echidna in the wild. We touched and fed emus, kangroos and koalas and saw dingoes and tasmanian devils in a sactuary on the way to Phillips Island. We visited Churchill Island and thoroughly enjoyed our day!
