We had the private tour to Coyhaique on 19th February and our guide was Ingmar. Ingmar was an excellent guide who spoke very good English and who provided our party of 4 with a wealth of information about your beautiful country. He was warm, friendly and very personable and a joy to travel with. He also visited places off the beaten track with us . Places that we would never have been able to see had we gone on the tours organised by our cruise ship. Please pass on our sincere thanks to Ingmar

Ingmar is one of the brightest, upbeat, knowledgeable, candid, & engaging tour guides we've had the privilege to experience. Our time with him flew by. His willingness to share his personal life & experiences in Chile really added immensely to our experience. His flexibility to adapt to our needs & wants was exemplary. Highly recommend!
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thanks. Was a pleasure having you and share that beautiful day and all our thoughts and visions and experiences at this rare sunny summer day in Patagonia.
What a memorable day the four of us had with Ingmar in February 2018. When we arrived at Puero Chacabuco he was there to meet us and was very aware we had to get back to port on time before the last tender boat. He was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the area and even took us to his farm where we met his family. We all loved the day very much, the countryside was stunning and we learnt so much. Ingmar's English was excellent and we cannot thank him enough for our time in Puero Chacabuco. Anne
Thank you Ingmar Peter. We had a lovely day in Chacabuco. It was interesting to hear about life in this remote area.
We spent an enjoyable day with Ingmar, he was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The standard of the vehicle was the only thing that we felt detracted from the experience but we understand he now has a new van. Thanks again Ingmar, we enjoyed your company.

Ingmar was a fantastic tour guide and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. He was a pleasure to spend the day with! Even though it was Christmas when we visited and almost everything was closed, he still managed to make it an outstanding tour for my family. He is so knowledgeable of the area and gave us a real feel for Puerto Chacabuco. We saw some truly magnificent views and have amazing pictures to cherish for years to come! I truly believe that you would be lucky to have him as your guide...

We had a truly excellent tour - Ingmar was helpful and informative, we all felt he really cared that we had a friendly and positive experience. We felt we gained a real insight into what life was like in this relatively remote part of the world. He was also very helpful in advance of the visit. We were really glad that we booked this tour.

WOW!! The 4 of us had an exciting and most memorable tour with Ingmar. He was charming, knowledgeable, accommodating, fluent in 3 languages. He is a very interesting man. And he was very interested in us. So glad to have seen this amazing area with such an exceptional guide.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you so much for that beautiful day. It was a pleasure to share that day with all four of you and finally receiving that nice feedback wich means my help was really appreciated.
Our tour guide Ingmar came right to the pier and was on time. Good vehicle - comfortable and clean. An interesting fellow although he never stopped talking. I would rate this 2 to of 5 stars at the most - not because of the guide whom I liked enormously - but due to the lack of anything to see or do. It was extremely expensive considering there were no attractions or places where money had to be spent. The tour consisted of a drive to and from Coyhaique - pretty country - but it would have been just
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Quote: --but due to the lack of anything to see or do---. Well, I am sorry and apologize for the beauty of Patagonia wich obviously does not match with Janets expectations. But finally I can not change the way the things are here, and lots of people find it a awsome and unique and interesting place they share a couple of hours with me as their guide for this tour. Maybe this was not the right place to travel for you.
Five out of five - Ingmar was knowledgeable about many facets of local life, and he was very accomodating to what we wanted to do that day.

Ingmar is trilingual, English, German, Spanish and has lived in many different countries so he has a variety of experiences. Very professional and did not mind the tough and/ or personal questions. Do try the local salmon for lunch. Book early, he is a popular guy.

We were a party of four arriving by Oceania cruise ship. Ingmar promptly met us in Chacabuco. After a quick tour we headed for Coyhaique, a gorgeous drive into the Andes with great vistas. It was a special day for us for we were able to visit and tour Ingmar's farm and home. We met his spouse and eight of his children, a horse, pigs, cows and chickens. This tour was a highlight to see how they live in a very remote and beautiful location. We loved our tour with Ingmar and would highly recommend.

We had an awesome day with Ingmar! We got to experience the natural, simple beauty of the area, the rivers and canyons, and even were able to spend some time on the river alongside his young son, an expert in fly fishing! We hated to see our day come to an end!

Ingmar was prompt, courteous, informative and showed the 4 of us some great scenery of Patagonia. He clearly loves the Chacabuco area and is eager to tell you about himself, his family and life experiences. I would highly recommend him if you tender there. If you are nice to him, he may even take you fishing for some trout! Thank you Ingmar for a great tour!

Wow! Peter loves his town and it certainly shows in his tour. His enthusiasm and genuineness made our tour even more enjoyable. He was waiting for us on schedule as we departed our cruise ship and then the adventure began. He stopped at many beautiful scenic sights. Most interesting to us, though, was his description of the farmers who lived and worked in the area. This is a beautiful region of Chile and Peter added to the appreciation of the beauty of the landscape and the people who live here.

Ingmar was able to show us the territory and informed us about his way of life. This was really informational, a lot of information, nice guy and really flexible
Ingmar, although living in the area for 5 years was very knowledgeable of it's past and current history. Well done at touring us and taking us to a local restaurant frequented more by locals where we tasted awesome food and local beer. you will find his own story of family very interesting regarding life in the countryside outside the major city.

This was my first tours by locals and we were extremely pleased with the Ingmar. Thank you for the delightful day. He provide us with much information about the region as well as general information. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable THANK YOU Ingmar!!!
Ingmar was a great guide, sharing personal stories and providing information about the Coyhaique area as a local resident would. His vehicle was comfortable and he drove safely throughout the entire tour and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is visiting the area!
