Best. Tour guide. Ever!! Beatrice is hands down the greatest guide my husband and I have had in our many years of traveling. She was just amazing, planning our two day tour to the tiniest detail, accommodating us in every way. She is thoroughly versed in the history of the Dordogne area of France so everywhere we went we got a great history lesson, giving us historical tidbits and little known facts. She got us REALLY hard to get ancient cave tic—only 58 given per day. THANK YOU BEATRICE!!

Beatrice turned rainy hours into sunny experiences, sunny hours into peak experiences. Her knowledge of the region's history and current culture made highway drives time well spent and provided us experiences appropriate to the changeable weather. Rainy - explore prehistoric cave drawings. Sunny - explore historic towns. And she helped us make sense of rescheduling our train travel when a union strike cancelled our train back to Paris the next day. Extraordinary professionalism + delightful personality!

Beatrice arranged an amazing tour of the Dordogne prehistoric painted caves for us including some of the ' hard to access' ones. I had very specific requests which she was able to fulfil and I realised just how much attention to detail that required. We enjoyed her company immensely

Beatrice is an amazing guide, knowledgeable about her topics, a terrific driver, and a really lovely person. She created a wonderful experience in Bordeaux and Dordogne that we will not soon forget. She really took our input into the stops we made with interesting wine and food and architecture highlights along the way. Thank you Beatrice. We enjoyed so much getting to know you. Lyn & Pete

Was wonderful, Beatrice was perfect, we discussed what we wanted and received more than we ever expected, Bea was a delight and we felt we had known her for years.Very knowledgeable on areas visited. Excellent English and careful driver. And impeccable planning , avoiding lines and with access to areas I am certain are off limits to others . Above all she is very pleasant and friendly, and very prompt, what more can one ask for and expect. I only wish we had more time to spend with her! Dan and Marilyn

Beatrice Martin is an excellent tour guide. I wanted to see Escot (small village) for genealogy reasons. Beatrice planned the entire trip. She researched my ancestor's family, found Escot family relations, who showed me my ancestor's home & church/cemetery. Met another relative whose grandfather was brother to my ancestor. Stop at Lindt factory, had lunch in Pau local restaurant.Beatrice gave me lifetime of memories/genealogy info. Beatrice is a wonderful person. Highly recommend Beatrice as a guide.

Beatrice is a joy, fun to travel with and very entertaining! She planned out our itinerary based mainly on our desires tempered with her very thorough knowledge of the area. She is a conscientious and careful driver who emphasizes the journey as well as the destination. She was always on time to take us to our next adventure and even helped with our suitcases. What a super experience this was for us to be "free of worry" about where to go next and how to get there. She always had everything in control.

Three girl friends and myself spent the day in Medoc with Beatrice on July 4. We had a fantastic time and she was just like one of the girls by the end of the day! Very knowledgeable on the region and ensured that we saw all of the grand Chateau's in the area. Wine tasting in Bordeaux is different than Napa - you must have reservations in advance. Beatrice took care of all of this. She also set up a gourmet lunch experience in a quaint Café/Bistro - delicious!! We would use her again.
What a superb day we had! Beatrice was an absolutely wonderful tour guide - felt more like being with a friend! Her knowledge and fun-loving nature made this day so enjoyable. Choice of Wineries was great and St Emilion is such a beautiful place to visit. An absolute must do when visiting this part of France. Even my 13 & 16 year old sons had a great time! I'd highly recommend this tour for wine and history lovers alike.

Beatrice exceeded our expectations! She was knowledgeable, interesting, personable, and thoughtful, providing umbrellas and water, often asking if we needed stops for restrooms or food, taking pictures for us and planning an unforgettable tour of the Basque Country and Rioja wine region. She even gave us chocolates and cava for our anniversary! When she left (after escorting us onto our train), it felt like she was a dear friend. We would recommend her to our friends and family without hesitation.

Wonderful day! Wonderful guide! This was the perfect ending to our trip to the Bordeaux area and underlined just how dramatically and charmingly different this part of France can be. If you think Bordeaux is all about wine and cognac, medieval towns and roman ruins, you must visit spend a day with Beatrice along the coast.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thanks so much Sue & Victor !

We spent one of the most enjoyable days of any vacation going to Cognac with Beatrice. A perfectly planned day was spent in touring the château of Francis I, now the home of cognac producer Otard, as well as a personal tour of the house of Rémy Martin. Lunch, on our own, was arranged at a marvelous, atmospheric restaurant in the heart of the old ville. This tour was an outstanding combination of history, information, personal attention and comfort.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you so much, it will a real pleasure to meet you and show you a bit of France !

Beatrice was everything i expected and more. She was prompt, gracious, helpful, and knowledgeable. In addition she gave us a city tour of Biarritz which we were not expecting. Her English was perfect and I would certainly recommend her highly to anyone seeking a tour in her area.

My husband and parents had a wonderful tour of Bayonne with Beatrice. She was very knowledgeable about the town and very patient, given that part of our group is somewhat hard of hearing and also that we wanted to stop and take pictures all the time! More than that, however, she was a delightful host - very generous with her time and in sharing stories from her own life. We very much enjoyed meeting Beatrice and talking with her. I highly recommend a tour with her.

I recommend Beatrice's tour to anyone wishing to see this beautiful part of southwest France. Beatrice sequenced the tour so that we got the most out of every stop. There was little waiting in lines or waiting for ferry boats. My wife and I enjoyed listening to her descriptions of the area as we walked along the beautiful neighborhoods of Arcachon and Cap Ferret. Our walk up the Dune de Pyla was unforgettable.

I recommend Beatrice's tour to anyone interested in getting a great overview of Bordeaux. Beatrice sequenced the tour so that we could see many areas of the city in a short period of time and at a relaxed pace. My wife and I especially enjoyed walking along the harbor and learning about all the improvements made by the city to make it more beautiful and environmentally friendly.

I am in a wheelchair and Beatrice made an exceptional effort to accommodate my disability. She rented an accessible van and drove us everywhere--we could not have seen any of Bordeaux,St.Emilion or Medoc without her efforts. She is very knowledgeable and extraordinarily friendly and shared her insights into the culture and region with us. She has our deepest gratitude and highest recommendation. This was a wonderful 2 days thanks to her!

Beatrice guided 8 of us through the St. Emillion village. She arranged for a superb tasting at the Fegeac winery. The fact that there were 8 people in a van sometimes made it a bit difficult to hear her commentary for those in the rear seat(equipping the van with a speaker system may be useful). She is quite knowledgeable of the region and her gentle manner made her a pleasant addition to our party. She led us to a small convent where we enjoyed a picnic lunch in the courtyard of the convent.

I wish to compliment Beatrice for her professionalism and enthusiasm shown during the walking tour of Bayonne yesterday for the our group from the UK. She was charming and gave the young people a great insight in to the local area and the history of Bayonne. I can highly recommend Beatrice to any other group travelling to this delightful part of France.
