We had a great tour with Doug . . . he contacted me just prior to our arrival in Vancouver and offered to meet us at our hotel, which was a great help and allowed him to show us some of the city as we headed to Granville Island! He was very knowledgeable, friendly and enjoyable to listen to! Afterwards, he emailed me answers/information about some of the questions we had as well as a link to a recipe for the Nanaimo bars that he treated us to! It was a wonderful way to start our visit!!

Our tour of Vancouver with Doug was excellent. He was on time, professional and very knowledgeable of the region. Doug adapted to our pace and made sure we were comfortable and well hydrated during our walking tour. I would highly recommend this tour!
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you for your kind words. The reason I love being a tour guide is because I get to meet people like you and your very inspirational mother. I know that you are leaving early tomorrow but after you arrive at YVR ask the nearest ridiculously helpful Cdn where 'The Heart of the Airport ' is. (hint.. it is art piece done by Bill Reid, bronze casting , jade patina, huge) It is very close to the International departure area and not that far from U.S. departures....5 minutes tops!

Doug stepped in at the last minute, since the guide we had secured hurt her foot. He was great! Doug is a wealth of knowledge and toured us through much of Vancouver by various modes of transportation. It was wonderful to get a sense of all the areas of the city in a few short hours. Thank you!

We had an absolutely fantastic time. Doug has great information and history about the city and the region, and he places it in fascinating context given his knowledge about the rest of the world and given how well traveled he is. He covered a great amount of the city too. We had a delightful time.Anne, from Philadelphia
