Would be 10 stars. George is the best of the tour guides we have used in multiple countries. BIG heart, compassionate, excellent guide with deep knowledge of his country. You cannot do better!

George is a friendly and welcoming guide. Our hiking experience, however, was very poor. George did not know the route through the Kazbegi mountains, and we ended up searching for our driver in the pitch dark, far after sunset and without proper equipment. With a better preparation, however, I'm sure George will be able to guide future groups fine! His hospitality and enthusiasm are genuine, and he is full of original ideas for cool activities!

Very many great sights and experiences - participating in bread making, wine tour and unique and interesting sights. Challenged on time description - signed up for 6 hour tour, today the same tour states 8 hours, the actual tour was 10 hours. Very professional and helpful driver

What a wonderful trip! I saw lovely parts of Georgia, tasted wines and food to my heart's delight, climbed through tunnels in Vardzia, awed at old frescoes in ancient monasteries, paraglided over valleys in the Caucasus mountains...and taken there by a team of expert drivers and great guide. And oh.....those mountains....what a sight to behold! George clearly knew his stuff and provided me with an unforgettable experience that exceeded my expectations. And hats off to our drivers - they were amazing.

George is an excellent guide. I could not have asked for a better person to show me the important places on the way to Kazbegi. George is extremely knowledgeable, kind and flexible.

This was a great tour! The guide treated us like VIPs and was very friendly making us feel very comfortable. He took care to our every need and in a timely manor. Our first driver was amazing always following behind us asking if we were OK which made us feel very safe. Our second driver had great suggestions for food. George was the best tour guide we have ever experienced in that he was knowledgeable of all places we visited and communicated well with the locals which helped us to even prepare local food

George is a very friendly guide. He arrived on time. He had a well planned itinerary prepared. He was a lovely and very knowledgeable companion, courteous and considerate. I had made a special request in advance and he researched it and surprised me by taking me to the obscure location I had requested. I appreciated all the efforts George made to take such good care of me.

Captain Geo was incredible. We had booked a half day wine and cultural tour. George spent the entire day with us sampling wines and experiencing Georgian culture. We had a wonderful dinner together and ended up spending the entire day with him. He was very attentive to our needs and wisely hired a professional driver for the wine tour. His insights and comments were very helpful in understanding the process of winemaking in the Georgian style and he was always engaging. I would highly recommend this tour!

Tusheti is one of the most beautiful places in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Getting there is difficult and, far too often, dangerous because of the road through the mountains. George was meticulous in choosing a driver with exceptional experience to get us there safely. That professionalism was essential to making the experience of Tusheti one to treasure. His preparation, and care for his clients, gave us the chance to take in a vanishing -- and often already vanished -- world.

such a great tour. I was short on time so I needed a tour that I can book for the next 24 hours and "ToursByLocals" was the perfect option for me. the tour really sums up the nice attractions of Tbilisi in the best possible way. George was my guide and he was very friendly and informative with all his knowledge of the city and its stories (wouldn't be the same with out him). I definitely recommend this tour.

Cross country/hiking shoes hiking /gears & jacket is extremely recommended. Good level of fitness is also handy in some cases and some climbing are involved. Tour guide was friendly and helpful. I had 2 flat tyres on the way back and assisted them which added to the experience. Please ensure the car on this trip is fully offroad capable. If you have motion sickness to rocky roads this trip isn't recommended. It's a very long day out from the city. Some locals might want to hike up prices on some produce.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: In my practice in mountains on 3100 meters from sea level weather is unpredictable. We did not expect also snow and rain in June, but it was, just because of this fact rocks become wet and fall on a way, which cut tires. So our professionalism is that we were ready for this situation, driver was very good and ready for extremely situations. We change tiers and go back to Tbilisi. We off course lost some time there, but it is unpredictable situation.
