Chisato gave us an amazing tour of Uji and the Tea Plantations. She was so flexible when one of our party had a problem with walking. She met us at the train station in Uji and we ended up driving our car to the tea plantation. She is fluent in English and so knowledgable about the subject matter. She truly made the day special for the 4 of us. Our lunch with a local farmer was fabulous, one of the best meals we had the entire time we were in Japan. Would highly recommend this tour. Thanks again.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Anne, Thank you for your message. The farmer was impressed with your knowledge on tea. It was nice experience to talk about tea with you for me as well. I hope you enjoy Wazuka's green tea and visit there again in future. Thank you again for joining the tea tour.
Chisato is a wonderful guide. She's very lovely and accommodating. She took us to many Japanese-taught classes that we would not have otherwise been able to attend. She knows a lot about fermentation and Japanese agriculture, so if that's something of interest to you, we definitely recommend her. She speaks excellent English and you won't have any trouble communicating on this tour. She's very kind and we thoroughly enjoyed her company.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Tzeyi, Thank you for joining the tour. I hope you enjoyed Japanese food and culture behind. Please have a good time for the rest of days in Japan and pickles you made today !
We learned so much, it was excellent. Thank you Chisato!

Thank you so much for Chisato. She an amazing and knowledgeable guide. This was the second time that I have had the pleasure of having Chisato as a guide this year. She takes note of your interests and looks for ideas to enhance your time in Kyoto. In our case it was two absolutely wonderful temples. One if which required her to mail a request to the temple 60 days in advance. Chisato will go the extra mile. I highly recommend her. Kenneth Reed
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Ken san, Thank you for your message. I appreciate your enthusiastic pursuit of tea and Japanese culture. I enjoy talking with you all about history, nature, cultures, and so on. I hope you enjoy kendo and tea in US as well. Chisato

I highly recommend Chisato's guided tour. I was in Uda City for two days and Chisato helped organized a short, but information-packed tour with hands-on activities. I learned a lot of new and interesting things! We went to a local miso store, a soy sauce store, and also a sake store. My Japanese is limited, but Chisato spoke perfect English and could translate the information from the craftspeople. For the hands-on activities, we made amazake and also natto. I'm excited to use my newfound knowledge!
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you for your kind words. It is very nice to meet you. I hope you enjoy staying at the small town of Uda, and I wish you to develop your style of fermentation by mixing with traditional way of Japanese fermentation. It could be more interesting! Thank you again for joining the tour to Uda.
