Hamala was a very good guide and really knew the history of the island. The only reason I would not rate as a 5 star was the vehicle size. We had paid for a larger vehicle more than 6 months prior to our arrival. Unfortunately' shortly before our arrival I was informed a larger vehicle was not available. Hamala did provide a 2nd vehicle but, it was not an ideal situation since folks in the 2nd car did not receive the tour information as the driver spoke little English

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you Yvonne for the review. Again I understand and apologize that I didn't fulfill my capacity for exceeding your expectations with the vehicle situation. I'm grateful the group was still willing and had some great memories. Malo aupito

We spent a very enjoyable day touring Tonga. Our guide made sure we got to see everything we wanted to see. He was very knowledgeable about the customs and history of Tonga. His English was very good. If you are going to Tonga this is the best man for a tour.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Mr R Blackington, Thank you so much for the much needed support. When ever you two are ready for your whale watching and swim , contact me my friend. Again safe & fun travels. Malo aupito

What a pleasant surprise meeting Aki and spending the day with him. He has put in a great effort to have a strong. command of the history and culture of Tonga. Our tour was all day. We were smiling broadly when we returned to the ship at 4:20 as they pulled the gangway at 4:30. Needless to say it was a full interesting day that we'll remember for a long time. I'd left something in his car and he very kindly mailed it. I received it and though of that nice day.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Deborah, thank you so much. Happy holidays to you three and families. Be safe, healthy and happy. Until our paths cross again, malo aupito ofa lahi atu. Thank you very much, love you all.

Aki was tremendous in his capacity not just as a guide but also a host to me during my short sojourn in Tonga. He is inspiringly knowledgable about his native country that even a day with him touring around Tongatapu felt like a lifetime's worth of experience in what is a very rich and exciting culture. The Highlights Tour will take you on a circumnavigation around the underrated but spectacular Tongatapu Island, paced in a very comfortable amble. Aki, you're a real star and you deserve a roaring cheer!

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Greetings my friend, you made it home safely. As I said"it's my purpose" and I'm grateful to be apart of the team. Mucho Gracia's to you for spending a day with me in Tonga, until our paths cross again and your husband joins, we'll swim with the majestic humpback whales. Take care and recommend me in Tonga to all your friends and family. Cheers.

Fe' ofa'aki was our guide for a delightful day in Tongatapu. He is personable, his English is fluent and he is full of information about his beloved country. He communicated with us frequently prior to our tour as to what we wished to see and to inform us about the weather conditions. He is flexible and tailored the trip to cover the areas we wanted to see. We highly recommend Aki as your tour guide if you visit Tongatapu.

TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you Margo and the crew, it was my pleasure to spend the day with you and educate about my wonderful kingdom of "Chinonga." Remember to recommend visiting me in Tonga to friends and family. Until our paths cross again, best wishes and safe travels. Ofa atu (love you) Fe'ofa'aki (Aki)
