Gerard provided such interesting aspects of life in Dublin, as well as in Ireland. He was flexible in meeting my requests to see historic sites that had not been listed in the description of the tour. If you want to know about culture, history and/or politics, I highly recommend Gerard.

We had an absolutely grand time with Gerard, and the trip to the Powerscourt Estate was stunning. As a long-time Dubliner he was extremely knowledgeable about areas along the entire route, and very engaging with our questions of not only Dublin's past but its present as well. The stop at the Joyce Museum was quite interesting. Upon returning to Dublin he stopped us by Dublin's oldest pub for lunch, hopped out, and was back in a flash with a table for four, with people at the door, the man is a wizard.

Gerry showed excellent guide skills, gave comprehensive information about the places we visited and navigated the roads wonderfully well. Our tour followed the coast roads to the James Joyce Museum and then we drove to the Powercourt Gardens for a long walk and then drove up the Wicklow Mountains overlooking Loch Tay for some great photos and an exhilarating feeling. Lastly, on the return we stopped at Avoca Woolen Mills for a look at the weaving. All in all this was a superb tour by a superior guide.
We enjoyed the tour to Glendslough & power court tremendously, Jerry is an excellent guide, hugely recommended.

Gerard was very knowledgeable and the tour took us to an amazing number of great sites. Highlights included Newgrange, monastery ruins, lunch at a castle/palace, and a tour of Trim castle. Exactly what we were looking for.

We had a wonderful day with Gerard. Our tour included Trim Castle, the Hill of Tara, and Mellifont abbey. We learned much about Irish history and also much about present day Ireland from Gerry. Many of our stops wouldn't be seen on a large tour. We felt that it was a day well spent.

Gerry Collected us from Dublin airport as requested , and took us to Trinity College and St Patrick's Cathedral as per schedule, the weather was dreadful during the tour so Gerry adapted the rest to suit the conditions. We had a really informative time with him and got a great feel for the city and its history. we would definitely recommend him to and prospective clients.

My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren with Gerard as our guide while in Ireland. Gerard was prompt, very courteous and extremely accommodating. His knowledge of all the areas between Dublin, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and back to Dublin was very extensive and his personal experiences while growing up and living in the area definitely added to the value of the trip! My wife and I would highly recommend this tour and Gerard as a tour guide.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Robert, many thanks for your kinds words it means a lot to me as a tour guide.Enjoy the rest of your vacation. Gerard

It is my pleasure to give my highest recommendation to Gerry. After spending a day touring the Irish countryside, we knew we had found a friendship that would last a lifetime. Gerry was knowledgeable, easy-going, flexible, and professional. In every way, he went the extra mile for us -- from searching out distant family relatives we had never met before, to meeting us again the next morning to personally drive us to airport -- Gerry went over and above!

A great day with Gerry in Dublin. We booked the all day Dublin tour with Gerry in early Sept. He was a great guide and host. He shared his insight on the history of Ireland and of Dublin. He was also very accommodating with making sure that we saw all of the great sights. We started at the Book of Kells at Trinity College then made our way to St. Patrick's Cathedral and everything in between. We ended our tour after the Guinness Storehouse tour. Great tour!

My wife and me were so happy to have Gerard to be our guide. Not that he was just extremely careful regarding my wife's walking limitation, he took off route roads and places so that she can view and enjoy the places with her own pace and time. Gerard was extremely friendly and warm moment he picked us up from the hotel and within few minutes he understood what we like and enjoy during the day trip. Next time we are back to Dublin, we will look for Gerard again for down south trip through the east coast.

We went to the UK in late July with a few days in Dublin. I decided to stay in a B&B and hire a private guide, so I could introduce my family to "local people". Gerard was our substituted guide, which does happen- and it couldn't have worked out better! Gerard was extremely knowledgeable, very professional and quite interested in us as "people" rather than just customers. We did a FULL DAY tour to the Cliffs, King John's Castle, Doolin for a pint and drove thru the Burren. Thank you Gerard!

Thank you for a wonderful tour! I was worried about touring on my own with the children when my husband woke up I'll. You were great and had amazing patience with the children. We hope to come back soon.
